Information needs to be free…even at the NYTimes

Seems the NYTimes has figured it out…. as a TimesSelect customer I was able to search for old articles etc. …but for price… Now…everyone can search to their heart’s content and do so for free.

Yes, there is still a tinge of arrogance there (you were expecting passive compliance?), but now everyone can experience it together…
Cool? Definitely. Arrogant? Maybe. But if they were passive and/or compliant they wouldn’t be very good at reporting the news, would they?
I’m reminded here of a JT lyric: “Now it might sound cocky but is it really cocky if you know that it’s true?”
So many ways to respond, so very little time.
